It offers Industry relevant Undergraduate & Post graduate courses in various disciplines apart from Certification & Diploma courses as per National Education Policy (NEP 2020). All the courses are designed & would be upgraded dynamically to meet the market demands.
Students of SU will be having the flexibility of choosing any elective courses from multi-disciplinary domains as per their interest/ambition to design their unique career profile. Apart from this, students will also have the advantage of studying the courses in advance to do a major project / Internship or get into pre-engagement programs of the industries or corporates. And also enabling students to study at foreign universities.
Students will be encouraged to participate in State / National / International competitions to exhibit their capabilities & explore possible collaboration.
Apart from academics, students are encouraged to take part in Co-Curricular as well as in Extra-Curricular activities to develop their personality traits and also to explore the possible networking among the peers / the professionals to equip themselves with ethical responsibilities to serve the community with human values.
It is dedicated to foster research activities in Inter/Intra as well as in multidisciplinary domains on need-based Scientific & Applied research leading to PhD programs. It establishes Centres of Excellence to encourage in-depth learning. Tinkering Labs/ FabLab’s /Idea Labs motivate the students to give a shape to their creative ideas. Academic & Applied Research enhances the students & scholars’ knowledge to solve the theoretical & practical problems of the society. Publications, Property Rights & Patents will give the students an extraordinary credit in their career.
Focuses on Career Skills like Soft Skills, Team work, Leadership Skills, Problem Solving Ability & Lifelong Learning Skills which are becoming very important personality dimensions. Career Skills Training Division provides all the necessary skill trainings which are integrated along with the regular courses. This division trains the students to secure better scores in TOEFL, IELTS & BEC etc., who are aspiring to go for higher studies or Career abroad. This division aims to develop a platform to project the Students & Staff Capabilities and the competency levels for the prospective stakeholders. Apart from the above this division organizes relevant Training & Development programs to enrich the knowledge of both the students & staff. Students can also have the advantage of securing academic credits using Self-Learning material/NPTEL/Podcast/MOOC’s etc.
In the present competitive world, Creativity & Innovation is playing a predominant role for the individuals’ opportunities & sustainability. Innovation & Entrepreneurship Division enables the students to develop a holistic approach for the product or the processes. It encourages Students get pre engaged with the peers from Industry & Corporates for better learning. While the This division also uses professional expertise resources to explore the consultancy work. This division identifies the potential Ideas, Business plans and incubate them to become successful Startups & transform them to Entrepreneurs.
